Information Technology getting better, society getting worse

Information technology helps us connects closer than ever in the history. As the world becomes more accessible, how can we avoid drowning in so much information and seize great opportunity to make our life more successful, such as getting Information technology jobs?

Imagine that two people are cutting Spipes at the same time. One is using a chainsaw, another use the Stainless Steel Pipe Cutting Tools. If you are interested in the future of these steel pipes, whom would you watch?

This chainsaw/ Stainless steel pipe cutting tools logic has led some to suggest that technological evolution is more important to humanity’s near future than biological evolution; nowadays, it is not the biological chisel but the technological chainsaw that is most quickly redefining what it means to be human. The devices we use change the way we live much faster than any contest among genes.

As technology gets getter the society will get lazier and eventually rely entirely on technology to help them through day to day life. For example, now you can control your central heating and have your bath waiting for you when you get home through an app on your phone, which making you lazier. For some reason you found pipes in your toilet are clogged and need to be repaired, you have to get a plumber or a technician to repair it for you which won’t make your life any easier.

Assuming that we really are evolving as we wear or inhabit more technological prosthetics, like ever-smarter phones, helpful glasses, and brainy cars. There is a much big question we need to answer: Will that type of evolution take us in desirable directions, as we usually assume biological evolution does?

So, in your opinion, is technology getting better society getting worse or vice visa?

What happened to society?

Since the arrival of new technologies, the population has suffered a massive increase in morbid obesity, heart disease, and Type 2 diabetes. Social problems are rampant: idleness, alcoholism, drug addiction, and suicide have reached some of the highest levels on earth. Diabetes, in particular, has become so common (affecting forty per cent of the population) that researchers think that many children, after exposure in the womb, are born with an increased predisposition to the disease. Childhood obesity is widespread, and ten-year-olds sometimes appear middle-aged. Technology is not the only cause of these changes, but scientists have made clear that it is a driving factor. And excluding some specific causes, it is Internet that makes us lazier and easier to get sick than any other time in the history.

Many a person believes that Information Technology, to be more specific, social media, which makes people don’t know how to act anymore and these days. If anyone dares to look up from their phone and make conversation, they’re afraid they’ll seem insane to others.

What happened to our younger generations like 17 year old actually bonding? They can’t sleep if their selfie on the Instagram doesn’t got enough likes. They can’t live without WIFI even just a minute. What happened to beautiful traditions like a boy actually having courage to talk to a girl wilst actually being sober? Young boy and girl are obsessed to each other only in the social media. What happened to people seeing the genuine side of people? So many good people go unnoticed because they’re not popular and don’t expose themselves on social media.

However, society is getting better because of the revolution of technology and we people are getting closer with each other. Although there is still much violence and death, our current rate is significantly less than historic times. There is less war, less social upheaval, and less disease all over the world. The relationship between technological evolution and our society is more complicated than we can imagine.

Information technology helps us connects closer than ever in the history. As the world becomes more accessible, how can we avoid drowning in so much information and seize great opportunity to make our life more successful, such as getting Information technology jobs?

Information technology

Information Technology wants what life wants: Increasing efficiency; Increasing opportunity; Increasing emergence; Increasing complexity; Increasing diversity; Increasing specialization; Increasing ubiquity; Increasing freedom; Increasing mutualism; Increasing beauty; Increasing sentience; Increasing structure; Increasing evolvability.

The technology, which is beginning to be disrupted and hacked, it is affecting the minds of young people in ways that could be harmful. Technology helps us in many ways because it makes life easier but I think we should stop using technology for every task we do. Everywhere I go, I see technology used for the simplest things that anyone can do themselves. For example motion sensors to turn on and off lights and sensors for other similar objects, making everything voice activated, online shopping instead of walking to the store and etc.

We all have become dependent on information technology; most everything today requires technology to function making it hard to live a normal life without it today. Technology has become both a blessing and a curse, the problem is finding out if it is more of a blessing then a curse. The more advanced society becomes technologically, the more people begin to depend more on computers and other forms of technology for everyday existence. This means that when a machine breaks or a computer crashes, humans become almost disabled until the problem is resolved. This kind of dependency on technology puts people at a distinct disadvantage, because they become less self-reliant.

Have you ever asked the question “can I live without technology?” To answer that question fully we would have to see how technology affects the mind and body. You would think that technology would have no effect on a person, when really it affects us more than you might realize.
